Topic: Censorship
1. How will increased Internet access and world-wide communication affect the military's ability to keep strategies and movements secret?
2. In an atmosphere of "public right to know", will the press return to pre-Vietnam "self-censorship"?
3. Will the military have to increase censorship to maintain secrecy?

ReplyDeleteThese are pretty interesting questions given our current state of ignorance about the wars our country is involved in. Since 9/11, there has been a heightened level of government privacy and maybe censorship that was a direct response to that attack. It is a fascinating topic.
